Being a Colorado native, I spent my early professional years learning the ins and outs of the mortgage industry from my mother. At the young age of 17, I jumped in feet first, to my first job in the mortgage industry as a Junior Loan Processor. Since then I have maneuvered my way around learning each side of this business as a processor, closer, underwriter, assistant manager, manager of an $80 million warehouse line for a small mortgage company, a compliance trainer and then making my final stop in sales.

During my 22 years in the mortgage industry, I have learned that there is no such thing as “typical” when it comes to a transaction.
